A press release issued by Sidharth Nath Singh, BJP’s National Secretary on Friday, said that the violence that erupted in Makhra, in which three people had died, and the later arrest of a BJP delegation that went to the site to assess the situation, is a sad reminder of rule of anarchist TMC in West Bengal.
The statement said that the BJP leader had, “read the Makhra shootout and death of 3 people in Beijing”, where he was, “leading a BJP 14 member delegation under the instruction of Party President Shri Amit Shah.”
Mr. Singh has said that the party delegation that was being headed by Shri Naqvi and was trying to visit Makhra to get an assessment of the situation in a peaceful and democratic manner. However, the police told them to stop and arrested them. Among other members in the delegation, state President Rahul Sinha was also present, reported the press release.
He said, “It is unfortunate and the step is a reminder of anarchist TMC rule in West Bengal.”
TMC head Mukul Roy says – Nobody above law:
He countered Trinamool Congress leader Mukul Roy’s statement that the BJP was spreading communalism and no one, including MPs, was above law.
He called it condemnable and questioned on the ideology of Mamata Banerjee led Trinamool Congress.
The notification further said, “The rule of law in Bengal has been converted into Law of Vote Bank by TMC and West Bengal has become under Mamata Banerji the land of Jehadis.”
In conclusion he also added, “BJP imbibed under the ideology led by Dr Shyama Prasad Mukerjee of Nationalism will not allow West Bengal to become Jehadi safe haven. This promise is made by BJP and nations tallest leader Shri Narendra Modi to people of Bengal and India.”
