Is Google Encrypted Browsing Worth It?
Google has been trying to cover up those previous blames of incompetence, related to that whole “Accidental Spy” thing. After the Google Maps fiasco, this time, the company launched a new service, which is known as Encrypted Google.
Encrypted Google is a new mode of surfing the internet and searching through the SSL mode to protect searchers from being spotted or intercepted. It is extremely simple for anyone to use this service as instead of typing down the traditional “HTTP”, a person can type down “HTTPS” to secure his mode of communication between Google and any specific browser.
No one will have the record of what you have been searching for, EXCEPT Google itself. But since, Google has been trying to keep up with its “Innocent” image, so there are a lot of companies out there, who still trust Google.
If all of those IT administrators are willing to overlook some of the privacy issues about Google, then we can say that Encrypted Google is an amazing service, which could be handy in most cases. All searches will be kept secret and they will never appear in the auto fill history, so it means that sensitive businesses and users can make a whole deal out of this new service by Google.
For the record, always keep in mind that there’s no such thing as privacy on the internet. No matter how hard you have tried to “encrypt” your data, Google will always find a way to sniff around. Even though the company vows to protect user privacy, we all know that Google is heavily funded by the FBI and the CIA at times for surveillance related projects.
