I have heard about racing marathons, bicycle marathons, but not that much about PC gaming marathons. Yeah back in the days, when I used to play World of Warcraft, a couple of buddies of mine had this fling for playing the game nonstop and they did it for 3 days.

That’s the most a human can do, if he or she doesn’t sleep but when I think of this 56 year old guy, Mikle Leyde, I have to go back and contemplate things again. Apparently, Mikle has been hooked to this game called, “Bejeweled 2” for over 3 years and that makes a total of 2,205 hours of game play for him.

This is something which we would like to call, as True Dedication because Mikle heard this from the developers of Bejeweled 2 – the game is practically unbeatable. It was enough to get him started on this quest and he used to play it every day for 2 to 4 hours, until one day, he finally managed to reach the highest in game score that was mathematically achievable.

But still, Mikle says that he isn’t a hardcore gamer! (Oh yeah, like anyone’s going to believe that bro…). The development team of Bejeweled 2 gave Mikle an extra credit for his untiring efforts and dedication and they also highlighted his top score.
