With all the controversy going on about Apple not being okay with Flash, I was a little stuck on really getting to know the root cause of this strange story. Believe me, I am one of those people, who didn’t buy the Steve Jobs version of Flash’s incompetence so I did a search of my own and dug out these results…

First of all, in many cases, Flash is not the main cause of all the problems or symptoms. For instance, Mac users have been facing a stable level of inability to play Flash videos on the KTUU webpage but later on, it was found out that you COULD still watch those vids, by disabling the Safari’s Block Pop-Up Window.

Or, sometimes if your little barricade strategy doesn’t work, you can move the Safari folder to the applications folder. At this time, if all else fails, you can upgrade your Mac OS to get rid of these minor bugs because there is no harm in doing that.

While I was reading comments of different Mac users about Flash, one of those comments really made me think about Steve Jobs’ cunning tactics.

“It’s been six months now and I haven’t faced a single issue with my Mac OS Vs Flash thingie, I wonder why people are even bringing this trivial matter up” – said the user.

It doesn’t always mean that Flash is the perfect software for all Apple products because it does have some setbacks. But issues are always expected in case of any software and there isn’t going to be an end to small problems. Alas, we all had to abandon Flash so suddenly, but hey… there is still hope of getting something better and perfect.
