Over the last few years, especially since 2010, file transfer process has gone through tremendous changes. It is not a big issue anymore when you have so many file sharing options to choose from. However, I still see a lot of Blackberry and other brand cellphone users who can’t get around Bluetooth file transfer because these guys happen to be the proud owners of oldest smartphone models.

Activating BlackBerry Bluetooth and Pairing Devices

-          Go to the manage connection panel and click the icon for the activation of Bluetooth device. Hint – small icon with a vertical bar like symbol

-          To pair your files with the other device, repeat the process and go through the Search & Listen feature, to detect the Bluetooth profiles

-          New blackberry handsets normally have Bluetooth profiles, set to hidden mode, that’s why you need to go to options and go to the Bluetooth services menu to enable all unchecked options

How to Transfer Files between BlackBerry Smartphones Using Bluetooth?

The actual file transfer process is relatively easy because all you need to do is go to the appropriate folder on your blackberry and navigate the file towards either of the following options;

-          Transfer file through Bluetooth

-          Receive file through Bluetooth

Next thing is that you wait for the Bluetooth profile on the other blackberry to respond. Afterwards, the file transfer process will initiate and that all there it to it. I haven’t tried this method with the Blackberry 5.0 OS and other non Blackberry devices. If you have given this thing a shot, you can always share your experiences through the comments section below.
