Google’s 24th Panda Update Affects 1.2% Search Queries This Time
Google just released its 24th Panda Update. Well, they didn’t exactly release the update right now, it has been a while. The important thing is that this update has affected approx. 1.2% English language websites, alongside their relative search queries.
1.2% may not seem like that much of a percentage – But seeing to the fact that there are billions of websites on the internet, with thousands being created each day, Google is likely to affect a lot of ranking factors. Webmasters are highly concerned about Google updates, which are still a mystery as to how they are going to impact the ongoing Search Engine Optimization business.
If you take my advice, stop spending too much on SEO. Really, with all these updates going on, Google wants to convert the SEO concept into SMO. Invest heavily in hiring good quality writers, and making their posts viral at high ranking social media websites. In the long run, or maybe by the end of this year, the conventional SEO strategies will be reduced to a piddling percentage.
Following is the list of all 24 Google Search Engine Panda series updates. I got this list from the official Search Engine Land website. Credit goes to them.
