Apple Continues to Sue 3rd Party Manufacturers
Oh boy, another day and another account of the Apple exclusivity reports. Take a look at the recent events that reflect the “Apple Monstrosity” profile.
The company has allegedly sued 3rd party manufacturers, who were into developing support devices for Apple products. Most electronic device manufacturers, who produced or produce accessories for Apple, such as; chargers, speakers, earphones, ports, adapters, connecting devices and headphones – they’re all sued.
It’s not that Apple has some personal grudges against those manufacturers, but some of those products were actually of inferior quality. Take a look at what Apple’s spokesman had to say;
“Many products are of inferior quality and they’re not fit for long term reliability factors. These factors have raised significant concerns over compatibility with damage to the Apple’s products.” The company recently launched a program, called – “Made for the iPod”. This program issued manufacturing licenses to interested 3rd party companies, who wanted to produce products and accessories for Apple users.
As a result, Apple gets to collect 20% off of every accessory that is sold by the manufacturer. The only problem is that lately, some companies started developing crappy accessories that were more of a liability. For instance, a crappy/cheap iPod charger will drain your device instead of charging it.
Now you don’t want something like that to happen to your precious iDevice, do you?
