The art of creating sculptures is fading away slowly. Occasionally, we get to see a bunch of passionate sculptors, making efforts to breathe new life into this ancient art. One such effort to revoke the work of legends like; Flaxman and Chantrey was made by Anish Kapoor and Antony Gormley.

The sculpture parks all over London are brimming with the latest creations of these guys. Artists who like to express themselves through sculptures expect a lot more in return. To be honest, their work reaches its final stage after a brief period of endless nights, tiring chipping and scraping, and much more.

Whenever a sculpture is headed for its revealing, the artist expects viewers to honor it, the way a child is baptized for the first time. As an artist, I’d recommend you to take a stroll to Roche Court, the oldest art center that was built for Admiral Nelson in 1804. Now, the gallery is being run by Hannah Barry, who is nothing less of a great artist, a visionary and an ambitious person, despite of going through her mid twenties.

Roche Court’s entrance area overlooks Bobby Dowler’s Oddball – a ginormous fiberglass orb. It is painted through and through with interlocking colors of bright combination. Once the light passes through this orb, it emanates the entire surrounding area with divine colors.

Up ahead, the lawn area has an aluminum shard that resembles a rod. Created by Mohammad Qasim Ashfaq, the art piece boasts of a mystic thunder bolt into the turf. The rest is just a hazy blur of unforgettable and divine art, which is recommended to be seen by your own naked eyes. As too much of the review would be telling all the details that would spoil the fun.
