I look at my innocent looking toothbrush sitting idly on the countertop in my bathroom. E
It looks nice and clean. But is it really clean? Think about it.
According to the studies, an average toothbrush contains approximately 10 million bacteria or even more which includes E. coli and Staphylococcus. The unbrushed mouth is a houseful of germs as many as a dirty bathroom floor.
Yucky? I know!!
TOOTHBRUSH is a magnet for little buggers called MICROORGANISMS
Toothbrushes get contaminated with oral microorganisms whenever they are placed in the mouth while brushing. The viruses and bacteria from an infected person’s mouth can live for weeks on the surface of a toothbrush which might cause an illness.
When placed next to the bathroom sink the toothbrush gets contaminated due to splashing from washing, or worse, by bacteria from an open-flushed toilet.
A qualified medical microbiologist with an avidity to read enchant a deep passion for creating a good impacting masterpiece with my words .I am very fond of good old English literature and like listening to music and paint in my free time.
