WikiLeaks Facing Trouble As Days Go By
WikiLeaks, as we know it, is facing a massive series of so-called “punishments” and penalties as each day goes by. What are the charges? Well, let’s just say that the platform is paying a heavy price for saying sticking with what it believes in. When WikiLeaks asked for lemonade and a little pat on the back, all they got in return was a sour crate of grapes. What’s the status quo on WikiLeaks right now?
The whistleblowing platform recently announced information regarding a few banks (names not mentioned here), to which Bank of America made an announcement pertaining to service discontinuation. The report that was released by Bank of America went on like this:
- “Bank of America joins in the actions previously announced by MasterCard, PayPal, Visa Europe, and others and will not process transactions of any type that we have reason to believe are intended for WikiLeaks. This decision is based upon our reasonable belief that WikiLeaks may be engaged in activities that are, among other things, inconsistent with our internal policies for processing payments.”
Controversy stirred when WikiLeaks took a leap of faith on November 28th, by going public with over 250,000 leaked U.S. embassy cables. It was brutal and the government didn’t like the way it all happened. Whatever the internal grudges may be, WikiLeaks is now being portrayed as a perpetrator. Bank of America is specially advising everyone not to deal with WikiLeaks anymore. “Does your business do business with Bank of America? Our advice is to place your funds somewhere safer.”
We all know what happens to guys like Julian Assange, the government will strip him of all respect, repute and dignity. They’ll slap him with some fictitious charges and declare him as enemy of the state. God Bless Every State Official.
