Imaginary Flickr Tokens Flickr is offering three months of free Pro category service to its users. It doesn’t matter if you are a new or an existing user, as part of the Holiday season, Flickr is sending the 3 month free service gift to all members/ non members.

As part of the Holiday Free Gift Campaign, Flickr has offered the three month pro level services for free. In other words, Flickr is looking to expand its user base by giving them the bait. The so-called “free” service will render the possibility of getting hundreds of users to sign up.

By the way the three month time period will be over soon. By then, Flickr will charge you the $25 cost directly to your credit card, or any other payment method you have selected. The real game behind this free thing is to get you to sign up for a user account. In a way, Flickr is asking you to open up an account or get you to enter your payment information so that the company can later on charge you for the pro services at regular rates.

Flickr Vs. Intagram | An Ongoing Battle:

Of course, another reason to be all friendly amidst the spirit of Christmas is to gain favoritism. Flickr is no doubt a rival against Instagram. People loved Instagram because of the way it used to make your ugly photos look beautiful. However, since some guy from Facebook or Instagram revealed plans of selling user pictures, the entire Instagram community turned upside down.

Since then, every other rival company has been trying to acquire new customers. Yes, it is true that Instagram, backed down and dropped the idea of selling your pictures to 3rd party companies. However, the cat’s out of the bag now. They have lost that streak of trust. People will have a hard time going back to Instagram.

On top of this, the douche bags from CNET also didn’t help Instagram that much. They released a tutorial for users to help them Delete their Instagram accounts and pictures altogether. Bravo guys, good job.
