Mozilla’s School of Webcraft Brings a Sack Full of Opportunities for Newbies
So there i was, strolling across Mozilla dev programs and suddenly the idea of checking in on their Webcraft school popped up. Last time i signed up for Mozilla School of Webcraft, it was 2 years ago. it was fun and overall the program was quite educational.
The next semester of Mozilla’s School of Webcraft is getting ready for launch phases next year. those who didn’t know about the School of Webcraft, it’s a free platform to help out people who’re interested in learning 100% free developer training resources and web development programs, such as: HTML, HTML5, CMS, SEO and etc.
The classes will start soon, but first you’re gonna have to register yourself. I did visit the website, as I was more than interested in straightening out my web related concepts, but the course registration is going to open up in a while. If you missed the opportunity, you can keep coming back to the company’s website for further updates. You can wait and join the School of Webcraft mailing list to stay on top of the newly posted news and pieces of information.
Mozilla is running this program in collaboration with Peer 2 Peer University. Last time, these guys had 15 classes, but now they’re all planning to take it to 30 classes. Each class is expected to stretch over 10 weeks (at max), while it’d focus on core concepts of any course you’ve joined.
Students can also submit their project proposals to officials at Webcraft platform because they announced openly about supporting a good idea from “top of the mountain”.
Anyone can join School of Webcraft because they’re encouraging novice and experts alike. It’d be good to finally see something nice going on, on the internet.
