Two Free iPad Applications for Hardcore Tourists
The iPad has become one of the most prominent travel companions that you can take anywhere across the world. This little device can help you to stay on top of your business, gaming world and social community. Granted that you have the right tools and the perfect applications, your iPad experience will always be unabated by outdated stuff. Take a look at some of the free/paid applications that we gathered for your consideration;
Travel + Leisure Suite – National Geographical Traveler:
- Speaking of going on vacations, a person sometimes doesn’t feel motivated enough. It is times like these when the Travel + Leisure application for the iPad comes in like a solid motivator. For now, the application is free because it debuted last month, but rumor has it that the trial period expiry will cost you $4, and nothing more.
- The application is loaded with interactive pictures, videos and stills of nature’s beauty. Plus, there’s an up close and personal experience based Vlog that travelers bring to your iPad screen.
On the other hand, the National Geographic Traveler app for the iPad is nothing less of an inspiration. It is a magazine based service that comes in through weekly/ monthly subscriptions. National Geographic doesn’t need any introductions, anyone would know about its awesomeness.
If Only These Guys Knew there was an App for Tourism – Independent Writer Images
KAYAK HD:
- Think of opting for the easiest way of booking flights, hotels and making car reservation, the KAYAK HD application is there to cater to your needs. Through this application, you can check in on available slots for booking flights at the listed airliners. Flight plans are categorized by their prices, perks and benefits.
- As far as making reservations for hotel rooms and cars is concerned, it is also easy. Same as the above case, all prices are stated in terms of their packages, suite apparels and user reviews about the said hotel or car rental service.
Obviously when it comes to tourism and your i-Device applications, it doesn’t end at two. Probably you have used other apps. If so, we would love for you to share your experiences through the comments section below.

About Nikki Malik
Nikki Malik brags about writing a bazillion books, including several best selling novels. We haven't seen any of them though. By the way, she also talks about being a winner of virtually every award that the literary community has to offer. Nikki modestly notes that: "It's not that other writer's are less talented than I am...there are a lot of good writers out there. Bunches of 'em. It's just that I seem to write at this different--some might say higher--level than everybody else. That's really all it is."
