Warning Sign Logo - Google ImagesThere’s nothing like a bunch of scams to leave a bad taste in your mouth. These guys never quit, never cease to stop to steal identities, credit card information or anything sensitive that can score a couple of freebies. Take a look at some of the most prominent holiday season scams below;

Free iPad For You!

  • You’ve seen one of these offers, especially when you’re surfing online. Especially there are 3 heads of famous celebrities bobbing around and you have to hit one of them to win a free iPad. Don’t fall for it; this is one of the oldest scam tricks in the book.

Gift Card Scams;

  • As much as the above category is famous, this one is nothing less of a gaping maw. During holiday season, the web gets a shot of Gift Card scams that normally claim to grant $1,000 at popular websites like Facebook, MySpace and etc. these good for nothing cards never arrive, and you’re less likely to get your money back. The FBI has special warrants issued against this type of con artists.

Bogus Auctions and Classifieds;

  • Here’s another trick that the online security companies have pointed out. Fraudsters create a fake order form of any online retailer with such a precision that you’ll never have any second thoughts when entering your credit card information. please beware of such scams, there’s nothing like losing a good chunk of your savings before or during the holiday season.

Did someone ever scam you on the internet? If yes, let us and the entire world know through the comments section below.
