The things that really make iPhone worth your while and dime (of course), are all those cool applications. Though free applications have a nice way of keeping users engaged in their menus, paid apps will always be one step ahead of the game. Here’s our list of best iPhone apps that have been released so far…

AppBox Pro:

  • At $.99 it is your all-you-can-carry toolbox. With this application you can think of yourself as a handy man, who’s always ready to pull out his tools. AppBox has calculators to calculate restaurant bills, sales price and regular price and much more. There’s also a Google Reader app that’s embedded in the AppBox.

The Big Picture from Boston:

  • This is a $2.29 application which is sort of a blog with amazing goodies. You get to see the whole world through your iPhone 4 screen. The application sends images with news feed round the clock. The idea of having the news media in the palm of your hand has never been too good than “The Big Picture From Boston”.

Air Mouse Pro:

  • For $2, you can remotely control your computer through your iPhone 4 screen. This application makes use of Wi-Fi network and converts your iPhone 4 into a mouse pad. It gives you fairly elaborate control over your computer over a long distance.

Obviously when we talk about iPhone applications, while mentioning the word “best” in the same sentence, a lot of people seem to disagree. Therefore, I would like you to write down about those iPhone apps that you like, or liked. Sharing is always good for community members at ‘The National.’

By the way, if you are the shy b***ard type, you can always send an email to theguy@thenational.net. We always read our emails and try to get back as soon as possible.
