Stargazing has always been a fascination for a lot of people out there. It’s just that when the iPhone was released, this little astronomical venture became overwhelmingly interesting. Take a look at the following Stargazing iPhone apps that will definitely make your experience worthwhile;

-          Upon visiting the SkyAlert database on your iPhone, you’re bound to cross ways with their official application. This app can let you lean in on different things, such as; how the hell does galaxy brighten and show comets across the sky, how milky ways are formed and all that stuff. The information is pulled in on up-to-date basis to let you stay on top of the stargazing business.

-          JPL Space Images is a wide assortment of space pics that are taken directly from NASA’s Propulsion Laboratory. You can see all manner of images taken by spacecraft that particularly hover over Mars, Saturn and around our Solar system.

-          Still to come, it’s NASA’s 3D Sun app that help users to spin the virtual stratosphere through tips, taps and flicking motions. All images are real time and are used to construct 3D sphere that are beamed to our planet through the Solar Terrestrial relations Observatory. Ummm, STEREO would be a more convenient word here.

-           Another interesting iPhone app for stargazing is iSky Gaze. Through this phenomenal application, users can locate different space objects that are easily viewable from their location. It’s just an easy way to let them dig in on stars that are especially viewable from their vicinity, and none other.

-          Lastly, the Phoenix Mars application is a surefire way of giving you an up to date weather report regarding Mars. Users are also able to get access to Mars images that were and are still taken by NASA on frequent basis.

That’s all for today. For more updates on iPhone apps, don’t forget to lurk around ‘The National.’ By the way, if you did not like an app in particular, instead of bitching about it, tells us about your favorite app in the comments section below.
