3 iPad Apps for Online Newspaper Readers
The iPad product lineup has always been considered one of the trendiest and welcoming devices for e-book readers. The way that paper texture appears on the screen, it escalates the readability factor of any article that is worth your two dimes. Take a look at some of the stylish apps for print magazines and newspapers on the iPad;
Pulse News for iPad:
- This $3.40 application is a great way of putting your iPad to an optimal consumption mode, while going through some major reading. Users can interact with their followers through the inbuilt social networking feature of Pulse News. Plus, they can also create their own My Pulse mini blog to share their daily rants.
Flipboard:
- Flipboard was designed to be a personalized social magazine. It merges news in the form of readable text, videos, photos and short stories that are shared by the user’s social network friends. The most interesting part of Flipboard is its slideshow that opens up when you launch the application. Users can edit their posted content and add various sources to their posts to glaze up the effect.
FLUD:
- This application closely resembles Pulse News and carries the similar price tag. However, you’re presented with several new sources and additional features that make FLUD better than the previous two apps. You can click the wrench icon to set the preferences, edit feature feeds, Google Reader data and much more. FLUD supports both landscape and portrait modes for effective readability.
On a personal note, Flipboard is also one of my favorite applications. It is also available in the Android market store these days. What are your favorite eBook and newspaper apps? Care to let the world know through the comments section below?
