The iPad Mini Screen Size?

Look at it this way: Amazon’s Kindle Fire HD 7 has a screen size within the 7 inch dynamics. Same goes for Google Nexus 7 and many other high profile tablets in the market these days. The iPad Mini isn’t going to be any different in terms of screen size.

As compared to the most recent version of the iPad, the iPad mini will probably have a lower price. Of course, it is a miniature tablet and Apple wants to release it for people who are always on the move. Plus, with the Holiday season coming in, you never know that the iPad will be priced lower and then later on introduced at a higher price.

The iPad 2 costs $400. Do you think that the iPad mini will be close to $400 or $350? Of course it won’t be. The reason is quite simple: With a mini tablet, Apple has to consider market competition too. Price plays a major factor in netting customers. Hence the iPad mini will be introduced at a very affordable price.

Also, the iPad mini will be used by people of all ages. This includes kids too. With an expensive tablet in your kids’ hands, it is going to look unreasonable. No one will feel comfortable with handing minors an expensive iPad mini if the price is way too high. Who would want to risk losing a device to an accident? Not me.

Of course, there is going to be a lightning connector in the iPad mini. Apple did it in case of the iPhone 5 and you bet your butt off that they’ll introduce the same thing in their upcoming tablet. Apple is advancing like any successful company these days.

The Lightning Connector will not only ensure exclusivity, which Apple is so famous for, but it will also guarantee future compatibility of Apple products. It does mean that you will have to buy totally new accessories for the iPad mini. At most, only the iPad mini accessories will be made compatible with the iPhone 5.
