The Golden Apple: If Hercules Only Knew About It…
B
ack in the days when Greek mythology was still pretty hot, Hercules was hailed as a God among men. Why wouldn’t he be? The guy got the Golden Fleece and the Golden Apple – and it wasn’t an easy task. Hence the expression “Herculian Task” is sometimes widely used in English.
Anyhow, speaking of the Golden Apple, it’s modern variation is a lot different than what the stories once had. Say hello to the exclusive 24 Karat Gold Plated iPhone 5; the perfect amalgamation of filthy rich and ‘are you out of your senses?’ It is the kind of stuff reserved for rich people only.
Gold & Co. of London has recently developed what it likes to call the collector series of their version of the iPhone 5. If you thought that having an iPhone 5 was expensive enough to impress your friends, think again. The newer gold version is catching muggers, thieves and envious friends round the clock as it is going to be made available at the ‘Collector’s Palace’ in at the Dubai Mall.
The company is also accepting custom orders with a 24 Karat iPhone 5 Gold Plated Edition of your choice and design. Ooohh La laaa…. I wish I had that kind of money; I’d have bought one for sure. At the moment, the fixed price hasn’t been announced yet. According to previous records when the Gold and Diamond studded version of the iPhone 4 was released, rich lads bought it for $9.4 Million.
Speaking of the price factor, it is hard to say whether Apple iPhone 5 Gold Plated Edition will either see a drop in its value any time soon. You know how rich people are. Not to forget the spoiled ‘b**ches’ who’ll just throw it away in their drawer after a few months of non stop ostentatious use. It would be just another ‘Oh maw dad bought me an iPhone 5 made out of pure gold’ sort of conversation by the time she’ll hit her next birthday.

Okay, after millions of sales in just a matter of few days, it appears that some of the iPhone 5 customers are not happy with the product. As it turns out, whenever someone is busy keying in his/her password at various UI program screens, they see flickers and static lines! What’s that all about?
This problem is sticking around like a persistent hobo because whenever the user is busy entering password at the Apple Store or the iTunes account, static lines take all the visual sweetness away. One of the users did post a YouTube video about these lines clearly parading around his iPhone 5 screen.
Meanwhile Apple reps think that this is a software issue. They are trying their level best to overcome this unexpected “technical difficulty” but so far, no one has a damn clue. Maybe it is some kind of anti screen glitch that came with the iOS6? Maybe, just like the famous iPhone 4 Antenna Fiasco, the world has yet to see the iPhone 5 Static Screen Glitch?
What do you think? Keep us posted about this issue.
