‘Anonymous’ the famous hacker community is known to many people on the internet. As a matter of fact, they are not a bunch of people that you could categorize as a “group”. ‘Anonymous’ is more like a hackers’ collective because these guys are trying to create a revolution on the internet.

‘Anonymous’ is more like a cause. When they hack, they hack for a reason. Sometimes ‘Anonymous’ doesn’t hack high tech security systems and famous online platforms; there was an incident where a guy went naked, I think it was a library or someplace like that, and “Dedicated” his daring act to ‘Anonymous’.

Anyhow, ‘Anonymous’ hackers are back with new year resolutions for 2013. They started with posting a video, showing all their greatest achievements in year 2012, and then took off to warning the world with this message:

“Expect us 2013.”

By the way, the video showed off important events in ‘Anonymous’’ history, where:

• They caused a temporary shutdown of the U.S. Department of Justice
• They hacked the FBI Online Portal
• They caused a shutdown of Universal Music website. 

Plus, they also did a bunch of nasty stuff in protest of the MegaUpload website takedown. Looks like the ‘Anonymous’ team really misses Kim DotCom; MegaUpload’s founder. In a statement related to the video, ‘Anonymous’ writes, “The operations which are listed in the video are only examples. There are far more operations. Some of them are still running, like: Operation Syria”. 

Let’s wait and see what these guys have in store for year 2013. It’ll be worth watching/ experiencing.
