In an obvious reference to the controversial programs of fringe outfits of RSS stand the BJP, Prime Minister Narendra Modi surprised everyone when he said that he is not the kind of man to stick to his post and will resign in a moment. Sources close to Narendra Modi say that the PM is annoyed by the approach and attitude of the ancillary outfits of the RSS such as Bajrang Dal and the VHP as their statements and programs are creating problems not only for his government but also proving detrimental for the chances of forming a government in the next assembly elections in a very important state like UP.

Modi says he has got a mandate to work for the development of the country

It is a fact that Modi has not liked the programs like ‘’Ghar Vapsi and Bahu Lao, Beti Bachao’’ launched at the behest of RSS. He feels that programs like these and forced conversions are a blot on his government that is working on a single pint mission of the development of the country. Ina  recent meeting with the senior leaders of the RSS, Prime Minister Modi said that he has got a clear mandate from the people of the country to work for the development of the nation. He added that he asked votes in the name of good governance and development and he will not allow anyone to derail the good work initiated by his government. He said that he is a man of principles and will not bow down to pressures put upon him from others.

Modi is not willing to bow down to pressures

Sources close to Modi say that he is the sort of man who likes to work freely and does not like to take instructions from above. It is in this connection that he has expressed his desire to step down from the post of Prime Minister if he is pressurized or asked to do something that his conscience does not allow. Those who were present during the meeting were stunned to hear his words as they never expected him to go to this extreme.

RSS has asked Bajrang Dal and VHP to stop their activities

Sensing the combative mood of Narendra Modi, the leaders of Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh seem to be in a conciliatory mood. They have issued directives to not only Bajrang Dal and the VHP but to all other minor and fringe outfits of the RSS to stop activities and programs related to Hindu religion. RSS has also asked the BJP MPs to desist from making controversial remarks in a bid to placate Narendra Modi.
