Unwanted iPad Accessory | Duo Games Duo Pinball
Every now and then, some bogus company, with a limited vision, tends to release an overly priced product. ‘Duo Games Duo Pinball’ is perhaps the prime example of a useless product that goes as far as playing pinball on your iPad. The only problem is that once you are hooked to it, you will regret buying it.
What is ‘Duo Games Duo Pinball’?
Well, let’s just put it this way. You go to the iPad app store and download the Pinball Duo HD app. Things are looking pretty up to this point. The app, or a friend comes over and says, “Hey man, did you know that you could buy a plastic dock with an actual pinball layout for this application?” Ah, well no I didn’t…
“Okay, you should go ahead and buy it because I just did.” The next thing you know is that you’re ordering the iPad compatible ‘Duo Games Duo Pinball’ gaming port. It looks something like this in the following image.
Oh yeah baby; now I am a hardcore pinball player. I will rock the pinball world with this powerful gadget! – Seems like it is a one-time investment that’s going to work with all kinds of old and new pinball games. Doesn’t it? However, this ‘Duo Games Duo Pinball’ device is perhaps one of those devices that never ever suit the “useful” gadgets profile.
What’s the Catch?
An overpriced item which is probably going to catch dust in the next coming time period. Discovery Bay, the company behind this “innovative” release could have actually set a new standard in gaming with their so called phenomenal app-cessory ONLY if they had made the device cross compatible.
As of now, you can only use this plastic junk with Duo Pinball HD game on the iPad and that’s it. Other than that, the plastic device, with its amazing Bluetooth connectivity and physical flippers is something that won’t be catching your attention any time soon. Probably you will play a few rounds of Pinball and then you’ll end up giving it to your great great grandson.
But hey, ‘Duo Games Duo Pinball’ does work as advertised! Can’t deny that…
