“Rowdy Fellow Telugu Movie Review And Ratings”
Plot:
Nara Rohit has an unique image in the film industry for himself for doing films with typical subjects. Literally, experimental kind of movies. This was his strategy since his debut movie Baanam. Al though Rohit acted in guest roles in some Telugu movies, he is back as full fledged hero in Telugu with the latest flick Rowdy Fellow which is directed by Krishna Chaitanya, a lyricist turned director. The film hit the screens today grandly. Let us have a look about the movie.
Story Of Rowdy Fellow Telugu Movie:-
The story is about an arrogant cop Rana Pratap (Nara Rohit) who gets into police department to teach a lesson to another cop (Ahuti Prasad). Rana Pratap is kind of a guy who goes to explicit levels to satisfy his ego. After getting into the police department, he gets himself posted at a place in Kolleru in Eluru district.
After joining there, he realizes that the entire area is under the control of a politician named Durga Prasad (Rao Ramesh) and the village is suffering with neck deep problems because of Durga Prasad. This is the simple plot and the rest of the story is how he confronted Durga Prasad, destroyed his empire and saved the people of Kolleru from him.
Plus Points of Rowdy Fellow Telugu Movie:-
Rowdy Fellow is completely dominated by the performance of Nara Rohit right from the beginning of titles of the movie. The dynamic screen performance steals the show. Undoubtedly Nara Rohit is an actor showing development from every movie with the selection of scripts for his films. The dialogue delivery and his powerful performance as cop, Rohit nailed it. His role looks opt in the role of police officer. Not to forget his performance in the climax.
Rao Ramesh is another actor that will come to your mind after leaving the theater. This film is incomplete without the action of this versatile actor in the negative role. The way climax scenes are designed between him and Nara Rohit are supreme. Another actor Posani and comedian Praveen are also good in their roles. As the movie went on with a single point agenda, it looks good for a common audience to watch without confusion.
Rowdy Fellow Minus Points:-
Apart from the screenplay, the pace of the movie is bit slow without commercial elements in the movie. It clearly lacks the comedy tracks which commercial films do have these days. Heroine Visakha Singh’s role as the female lead has no importance in the entire story. The songs are also not up to the mark, moreover they spoil the mood of the film.
The background of Rohit in the movie has no proper justification. The films seems predictable with the single line agenda of the story
Technical Aspects:-
Speaking about the technical aspects, the film is absolutely brilliant. Right from the camerawork, the film is outstanding. The village set up is good. Dialogues are superb as usual we see in Nara Rohit’s movies. They have a deep meaning and precisely at the climax are in the peaks of the movie. Music is good, but the background score need to be improved a bit, which would be a huge point in the success of the movie.
After watching the movie, it is clear that the movie is completely based on the screenplay and runs on the vision of director. Krishna Chaitanya, the debut director has managed to do a good film somehow. He has got excellent writing skills. All the movie lack is some commercial elements which are necessary for the present movies.
Verdict:-
Rowdy Fellow reflects the matured and growth of Nara Rohit as an actor. This film is different from his past movies what he has done so far and this one is unique. Roles of Rohit and Rao Ramesh are the plus points. Our verdict about the movie is that Rowdy Fellow is just an okay watch.
